It would be a real surprise if one day, you just took control and did a straight match, especially if the wrestlers can slip in more wrestling moves. I like kicks and punches and smashing things too, but wrestling moves are also cool too. More arm bars, joint locks(ie: elbow), hip tosses...you know, the basics... No more rules??? When they aren't beating you up, there are ALWAYS a few eye gauging and low blows going on if you even care... (Actually, they are quite fun to watch tho'! ;D ) Well, on the bright side, you can count to 3... WEBMASTER, It would actually be a surprise to you eh? I guess I'm not fitting of being a senior official I guess... "but at least I can count to three?" Is that all? I referee for HCW but I also work for the fans. While it's expected that I will do what I can to have the match be as fair as possible, I will not have any part in robbing the fans of a potentially good match because a few wrestlers (cough... cough... cough.. Mr. Spa Fitness.. cough... cough... cough) decide to use a few short cuts like gouging of the eyes or using Tuwon to distract me to get that extra low blow in causing a disqualification which ultimately means the match is over. I learned a long time ago that this isn't ballroom dancing and I will not allow something important as a title match be decided and ended on a poke of the eye... BUT low-blows are another thing, perhaps I will have to go as high as I can and e-mail Mr. Apter about this one once and for all. I can't help low-blows, I can't call what I don't see. At some point I've learned that I will not dictate certain points of the match. I do not hold any title nor do I fight for any HCW title, the wrestlers do and as long as it's within the boundaries of decency, I will let the WRESTLERS wrestle their match. I don't think anyone knows this, but I also used to officiate hockey games, and hockey is a rough sport filled with it's cheap shots here and there. In any rough physical sport, you've got to distinguish between the gray areas and the blatant fouls. The fans pay to see the players/wrestlers do their thing and they expect us to let it not get out of hand, but the fans don't pay us to show off our authority. It's one thing to call something tight and down the middle and it's completely another thing to let the referee determine the outcome of a game or match.

Yes, I see your point... and I forgot that you had that sensitive side that is what we all love about you, and I do have a tongue like a razor blade sometimes. (Not too often, but sometimes... ) Well, we can see that being the Senior Official here with HCW is not an easy task! It certainly takes more than counting to 3. It does take a "special" person to be in charge of all the "chaos" in the ring... I know that, but because it is "especially" crazy in the HCW ring, quite honestly, I cannot think of any other referee in the whole state that can actually step into your shoes, and that is the irony of my post, and I should not take your job lightly like that again... My apologies to you, Ref! However... I was talking about 2 different "thoughts" at once. So, sorry to confuse you. You have nothing to do with how the wrestlers are wrestling (true), but as a referee, don't you have what it takes "inside yourself" to take control of what's going on to command that attention to the law in the ring? I mean, you don't have to let them destroy you...YOU "are" the LAW...Right? We are worried about your safety and well being at the same time.

Kazz is a terrible referee. He's blind as a bat. He never see anything, and is always holding on to the ropes. He hits the mat like a girl.
Other than that, he's ok. But, I miss the true "senior" referee in Hawaii, and I won't mention his name.
Email Bill Apter? For what, Kaz? What is he going to do? He's too busy writing Q&A's for his website, and trying to get a 900 number off the ground again. Seems to me like Mr. Apter, with all due respect, is stuck in a time capsule.
HCW put on a decent show the other night. I tend to agree with the more old-school style; I'd rather see a lockup rather than kick-exchanging. Maybe it was just my upbringing, but I've never been attracted to that type of "strong-style" wrestling. I suppose it has to do with the very nature of what professional wrestling is, and what it's not... And the lost art of telling a story in the ring, with a progression that is believable, is something that is sadly fading away.
And I'm not pointing to anyone in particular, or even HCW itself, although there is some really boring kicking going on at times.
All in all though, I have little to gripe about concerning HCW.
Decent product, and always making an attempt to evolve.
Oh, and I think Kazz needs to speak to Mr. Jeremy about how to grow a big hairy set and stand up for yourself, instead of crying to someone 4,954 miles away... Let's go, Kazz.... Step up and be a man...
Show your authority.
And nevermind the politics of UH. It's a lost cause.

Boring? I wouldn't consider a kick to the head from Ativalu boring.

Kazz ain't a bad ref...he takes one of the best ref-bumps I have ever seen...I saw a ref get nudged on WWE and go down wobbling like Shin-Ku was sitting on him. And he sees a helluva lot more than Jeremy does...Jeremy must be too busy staring at MaHu Wong's shiny pants.

I think Saturday's show was great. I really like HCW's open door policy. The last show had Chris Del Sol, this show had the return of Ete and Ativalu. Makes me wonder who's gonna appear at the next show. I can't wait. I'll regret sayng this but Ma Hu Wong really impressed me this month. He has gotten better and better every month. It was nice seeing the Crusher again just want to know where was Shin Ku, Mr. H, and the rest of his crew. I can"t wait to see what the stipilation Kaniala comes up with and I really hope Spa & Fitness gets his belt back cause I don't wanna see him retire, but I always wanted to sing the goodbye song. My best wishs go out to Carl and his family. I know how hard it is to loss a brother. Wrestling is a good way to get your mind off of the sad feeling even if its just for 2 hours. Right after my baby brothers funeral in January, I came to my first HCW show. That same night. It will heal in time but the memory of him will never leave. I come to every HCW event and remember all the live WWE shows my brother and I went to. He was the only one in my family that watched wrestling with me. I just wish we could have found HCW years ago so he could have watched it with me. Sorry got off the subject for a second. Great show guys and I wish it was already June 9. Can't wait to see everyone there even if I haven't met any of you.

Thanks for your note and I assure you this is a large issue that will be addressed by the organization as a whole.

We've done cage matches before, so that's a BIG NO... Nope, nope, nope... LOL!!! Sugarcane Match!?? That's FUNNY!!! No, it's a hardcore pineapple match sponsored by the ABC Stores, where they will beat each other up with ripe pineapples, and we will pass out big plastic trash bags to cover yourselves up for the FANS sitting up close in the ringside seats!!!! It will be a sticky mess with pineapple juice flying everywhere!!! Nah... just kiddin' ... WRONG!!! ;D Hmmmmm.... What could it be?

The stipulation should be:
No matter the outcome Mr. Oki must have his head shaved bald in front of the audience, by our own HCW hairstylist, Ma Hu Wong!!!
