Aloha,
As this calendar year comes to an end, I would like to extend my mahalo to those that have continued to carry on in Hawaii Championship Wrestling.
In a few short weeks my new official title as Vice President of this organization will take effect and I will have a lot of things to evaluate.
First I would like to say that during my absence I have been impressed with the new faces in HCW. Tilo Vasaga, Sulu Afi, and yes even Krazy Chris Jones have captured my attention and I look forward to seeing the development of these new athletes in the upcoming year. However it is without error that I failed to mention Mr. Sean Christain. His actions against the current HCW Champion will not go unnoticed by this office and those in representation of it.
In the past I have had the privilege of not placing any addition stress upon myself by concentrating on the politics in this business, but as we all have seen it would be professional wrestling without individuals trying to take the easy route to success right? This is where Mr. Nakamura comes in.
Now I will refrain from using any kind of judgment as I plan on meeting with Mr. Nakamura soon in person. I will leave it at that.
The success of Hawaii Championship Wrestling is rooted in the individuals that have not lost focus in what brought this all together. As I see Kaimana, Ete, Ativalu, Micah and Tracy Taylor gaining international attention, I think back to the original vision that started this all.
Hawaii is a special place with special people with unique values. I hope to preserve these basic elements to ensure the quality of entertainment that fans have come to expect from the most productive professional wrestling organization in the entire State of Hawaii.
Malama pono,
Kevin "Kazz" Kacatin
"soon to be" Vice President, HCW
