The HCW Honolulu Office of President LINDA BADE recieved a nice home made "mahalo" card from Samantha Moikeha (daughter of Sammy Steamboat) yesterday to the HCW ohana. It reads:
Mahalo for your gift! Aloha -
'Oiai, 'a'ole hiki e' ike ka wa'a 'imua, e holo mua
I ke ala poloolei me ka lima pa' apono I ka hoe uli
Although the leading canoe or the canoe in front cannot be seen,
keep going forward on the right path with your hands fixed firmly
to the steering paddle.
Mahalo for sharing this day with us -
From: The Ohana of Sam Steamboat Mokuahi Jr.
*There is a nice picture of the canoes that took
Sammy Steamboat out to sea to rest out in Hawaii Kai...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A hui hou, Sammy Steamboat!!!! ;D
We can only imagine how BIG the Mokuahi Family's heart and "aloha" extends, knowing that Samantha had to personally hand write messages to hundreds (maybe even thousands) of friends, in her busy everyday schedule...and finally HCW even got the "honor" of receiving one of her home made cards of appreciation and aloha.
This is why we must always remember that "ohana" comes first. It is obvious to us all that Samuel Kauaawa Mokuahi Jr, was indeed one of the "greatest" dads that ever was!
Samantha, you are one "blessed" daughter!
HCW ohana will always keep Samantha, Sammy Steamboat and their ohana close to our hearts.
Mahalo for including HCW in yours.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HCW News and Rumors update will be back in the next few days with more "official" updates from the management offices of HCW. So, please keep coming back to see what will happen next... We know, how anxious you are to find out what is going on next. All I can say is "One door closes, and a whole bunch more opens up!"
Take care until then, and keep loving each other! ;D
God Bless.
Mahalo for being with us! ALOHA, and PEACE, OUT.
