HCW News and Rumors 11/30/2006 ;D
Aloha and welcome to another edition of HCW News and Rumors!!!
Inter-Island Frenzy?
Current Champion MR. SPA FITNESS has sent a complaint to the offices of HCW saying he wants competition. He has made a few feuds with current top rookie Ma Hu Wong, and HCW's veteran leader of the Hawaiian Strong Style Revolution, KANIALA. MR. SPA FITNESS has been on a roll since he pinned KAIMANA for the title. He claims he is next in line for a title shot because he beat the current champion. But from our sources MR. SPA FITNESS might have his hands full because not only Ma Hu Wong and KANIALA wants a piece of him, but Maui native CRUSHER has made a mention about facing MR. SPA FITNESS for his title. So, the question is, "Who will face MR. SPA FITNESS for his title next?" Stay tuned for more on this story….
Yet another injury?
There was a rumor that KANIALA had a video conference with HCW Commissioner BILL APTER and President LINDA BADE today at 5pm about injuries sustained during the Saturday Night Slam show on 11/25/06. President LINDA BADE called this meeting because KANIALA refused to go to the doctor to get checked out and brought in Commissioner BILL APTER into this meeting. It was a long meeting, but what we were told as KANIALA left looking less than happy, was that President LINDA BADE (with Commissioner BILL APTER backing her up), has drawn the line and ordered KANIALA to see a doctor immediately.
President LINDA BADE has issued a statement that the HCW superstars' health and safety is number 1, and if she feels that you are not healthy to compete, then you will be banned from the ring untill you can get the appropriate doctor's clearance.
The good thing is that HCW has a little break untill the next show. The bad thing is that new training / try-out dates are coming up, and a few of the superstars double up as guest trainers. So, here's another thing to think about. If the "regulars" keep getting injured without seeking medical attentiion, will the new guys (and the new rookies) slip into the spot lights, of those who do not recover quickly enough? Although it may sound a bit cold, these are realistic concerns for a promotion with contractual obligations to keep putting on shows and also to keep training students, come rain, come shine.
Will KANIALA take the warning and seek a 2nd opinion or will he not listen? Stay tuned for updates on this story.
Tag Teams?
What team will step up and become the next Kekaulike Tag Team Champions? Will it be a local team or will someone from the "outside" step up and take the titles from Hawaii? Commissioner BILL APTER has stated that he will make sure that he will find 2 teams worthy enough for these titles and will name them on a later date. Who are these teams? Stay tuned to find out...
Well...this is it for now, but we will be sure to bring you more "up to the minute" News and Rumors on HCW as more develops. So, until then, mahalo for being with us and ALOHA!!!! ;D ...PEACE, OUT...
