HCW News and Rumors
1/30/2007
WELCOME to another edition of HCW News and Rumors!!!! ;D
Just days away from an action packed FRIDAY NITE SLAM! with AWA World Heavyweight & AWA World Tag Team Champion STEVE CORINO!!!
KAIMANA has ended all rumors and back talks about him being a paper champion!!! ;D GOOD JOB KAIMANA!!! The HCW Ohana is VERY proud of you to have defended Hawaii's title so courageously and we commend you for that. Good luck on future challenges, as Commissioner BILL APTER, President LINDA BADE and AHUNA had been in several video and phone conferences after the surprise win against the "the" King Of Old School, STEVE CORINO. Who will be next to step up, and where will KAIMANA go from here? Stay tuned, as the phones have been ringing off the hook regarding the future of the Kamehameha Heritage Champion who just spontaneously, stepped up into an unexpected outcome!
New HCW/AWA Hawaiian Inter-Island Champion….
For those of you that were there this past Friday you saw an auto wreck as MR. SPA FITNESS defended his title against CRUSHER and KANIALA in a triple threat match. Now, the rules say that a champion can lose his title without getting pinned or submitted and that’s exactly what happened Friday night. MR. SPA FITNESS has issued a complaint to the HCW board but was turned down. MR. SPA FITNESS has used his rematch clause to face the NEW Champion, KANIALA on Feb 10th, just 2 weeks away. Is KANIALA ready for his match? Will MR. SPA FITNESS have something up his sleeve? Stay tuned as we will have more on this subject.
D.A.M.(DRAGON ASYLUM MAUI) ?!
It seems that D.A.M has not found the right timing, as the whole MAUI group faced Hawaii’s # 1 tag team HAWAIIAN BLOOD this past Friday and lost!!! The upside to this story is D.A.M’s leader SHIN KU defeated MA HU WONG and got a bit of a revenge for losing their match last year. Will we see a new team on Feb 10th? Will CARMA and KAMU show HCW something new? Stay tuned as this reporter will fly to MAUI and see how they are training.
Meanwhile, Referee JEREMY has been licking his wounds from KAINALA bashing him several times with the steel chair, and submitting him right after, until JEREMY who was disguised (for the most part of the ordeal), turned blue, right in front of the Tropics HCW "regulars", who cheered and gave a standing ovation for KANIALA as he ripped off JEREMY's mask, and clamped down on his wind pipes at the same time!
Commissioner BILL APTER was extremely unhappy about this, and said that he did not want to see a referee ever acting like this again. He also added that any referee who sneaks into the ring wearing a mask to attack a wrestler should be fired immediately, and KANIALA should be fined heavily for man-handling a referee whether he is in a mask or not. Furthermore, he stated that this is one of the most unprofessional behaviors he has seen in a long, long time, and he has been in the business for over 35 years!!!
However, HCW President LINDA sided with KANIALA and said that this was JEREMY's own fault, and quietly directed AHUNA to just give a warning this time. AHUNA went a little further, and directed HCW senior Ref KAZZ to keep JEREMY under close observation, until further notice. Ref KAZZ is apparently trying to get to the bottom of this, to find out specifically why JEREMY "suddenly" snapped. Stress? Nervous breakdown? Oki getting to him? Not loved enough? What's the deal?
Friday night was a bad night for MR. OKI, as he tried to call Commissioner APTER to complain about STEVE CORINO's performance against KAIMANA, and to demand that he get with AWA President DALE GAGNE to see just what went wrong here!!! However, both AWA President Dale Gagne and Commissioner BILL APTER could not be reached that evening, which made MR. OKI even more frustrated and upset!
Later, he was heard yelling at KENJIRO, "I thought ZERO1 was sending me a man who can do the job right, and take care of, KAIMANA once and for all!", he said. "Instead he ends up shaking hands with stupid Hawaiian!!!... I don't like this. I really don't like this..." he grunted...
The HCW Newsletter department told News and Rumors that they are working on an interview with STEVE CORINO...coming up. Perhaps we will get to see "his" side of the story on this... Stay tuned...
We will be sure to report back with more HCW News and Rumors as they develop
Until then, thank you for being with us!!! ;D
Have a great week!!!
Mahalo!!! Aloha!!! and PEACE...OUT.
