Hey, this message board needs a breath of life pumped into it... first, some people who write should hit "alt+c" before posting their message. I would really like to understand what it is they are talking about. Kaniala is an awesome wrestler, I like his stlye, but his writing is atrocious. I mentioned in another post about the roster being thin. I didn't mean that in a bad way, actually it's kind of a good thing. While HCW may have a couple of good wrestlers, the rest were just too painful to watch. I am sorry for causing a stir about Ma Hu. I didn't realize he was Chinese. Ma Hu. So it is Ma Hu Wong, not Mahu Wong? If that's right, then it goes back to poor writing by someone. A gay chinese guy. I get it. Hawaiin/Chinese heritage. Yes? And so what if it's a take-off of another character. Someone said Cholo and Kris, but I think Sassy Assassin was the best at the whole gay thing. But it has been fun to watch the Ma Hu... Not mahu, but Ma Hu guy. Congratulations to Ahuna for being given added responsibilty in HCW. I always enjoyed watching him wrestle, but it's been fun watching himi in charge. I can't go to a show until March, as work is going to have me "pinned." So it would be nice to be able to have some HCW interaction until then. I saw that one of the other promotions has put their matches on youtube.com. That's pretty cool, so you can watch them anytime. Maybe it would get people interested in HCW, because some of the things I have seen in those matches are really bad. Some of those included the worst moonsault ever. And why doesn't wrestlers interact with the crowd during the match at all? And if you can't bodyslam some, you shouldn't even be in the ring. I would put this on their message board, but that is as dead as their shows right now. ;D I am going to miss Nightmare though. But that's it. I think HCW is going to take this "loss" and use it to their advantage, and instead of watcher's insane claim, HCW will rebuild even stronger than ever. Like Kaz's samoan chant he took from I forget where, HCW will still be the best place to see wrestling. And the other I miss is Kris Kavnaugh. He was the best. I was hoping to see some serious Kris and Kaimana fueds, and I think this match could have been traveled with all over over on the mainland. I think of all the wrestlers in Hawaii, that would be my "dream" match. Mahalo for letting me be open and honest.

Alright Wrestling Wizzard I have a few things to say. I do appreciate your interest in HCW. I know and completely understand where you are coming from. I do agree that our HCW roster is thin at the moment however with every great Dynasty we have to rebuild. For example ever since the Fab 5 Michigan hasn't ever been the same in NCAA Basketball. Another example is the Dallas Cowboys ever since Troy Aikman Emmit Smith and Micheal Irvin played for them they havn't done crap in the NFL. Also to prove my point the Chigago Bulls they havn't won a championship in the NBA since Jackson, Jordan, Pipen played for them. So as I go on we are rebuilding and I don't think it's going to take as long as the fore mentioned greats. Alot is going on in HCW with the new training and Dojo's facilities Island wide and with talent coming back. So just give us the benifit of the doubt. We won't let you down. Also please don't knock on the way people talk or write messages here in the board. We are in Hawaii and people tend to write the way they talk. Hell I do it and I am a redneck from Kentucky. I just don't say YALL, or anything like that. Just learn from it. I have grown to accept it. In closing I just want to say let the puzzle fall into place and stay tuned to what HCW has to offer........Ref. Jeremy

Jeremy, I am not knocking people on how they write on the message board. I'm simply saying that, if you're going to take the time to put your thoughts down, at least reread so your audience is not left with a migraine trying to understand... So what if you're from Kentucky... It's no shame if you say y'all, just spell it right. I love reading Kaniala's posts, it's just difficult to understand half of it because it's missing words, words are mispelled, and his message simply loses the "emotion" because it's so difficult to read sometimes. Hell, write in pidgeon, there's nothing wrong with that either. Why bother posting something at all if it's unreadable?
I don't care for NCAA, or the Dallas Cowboys, or how professional sports teams rebuild. That and HCW share no comparision whatsoever. While I understand your point, the fact is they are professional athletes, and HCW wrestlers are people who hold full-time jobs, trying to make ends meet, and the rebuilding process is far different than a professional sports team with millions of dollars to throw around.
And like I said, I actually like the new, leaner, meaner, roster... And I'm confident that Linda & Co. will produce more quality talent in the future.
But this thread had more to do with trying to get more HCW talent to post their thoughts... There is alot of time in between shows here, it would be nice to see some interaction in the meantime. I hardly consider you a talent, Jeremy. You're a referee. I wanna hear from Ahuna and Kaniala and Kaimana, and Bill Apter, and Linda!!! Now there's talent.
But, if you would become at all entertaining, then I would love to hear from you too.... ;D

Uh oh... Looks like thewrestlingwizard vs Ref JEREMY!!! DOAH!!! The message board is pretty quiet I think, because the staff is busy with their "real" jobs and other HCW chores during this down time. Believe us, it is not a "vacation" that we just decided to take! lol!!!... There's a lot more work that go behind the scenes than people think. Whew! The TV show needs to be in the can this week, as well as the 2006 SATURDAY NITE SLAM DVDs, so "final" editing and tape transfers, etc...is getting done now, as well as getting everything organized to schedule the upcoming try-out dates, etc.... Also, pre-prod chores for January - March started already. So, we are kind of jammin' here, so we apologize for the awkward "silence". It's hard to "focus" otherwise... kind of like tapping the top of your head with one hand and rubbing your belly in a circular motion with the other! lol!!! Well, we will try to pop in more passionately, when we can, again! Thanks for keeping the message board "alive"!!! (Yes! That's a "positive" thing! Thank you very much!) ;D ~Admin

[glow=red,2,300]Sorry I couldn't get to respond sooner, kinda been busy with doctors and all. SO first things first. thewrestlingwizard, it is great that we a "FAN' blowing up the message board and is making some things interesting but when you bring up my name. Now I have to respond, I read that you already have wrestling training and it made me wonder. Are you a fan that did a little training up in the mainland, one of then "teach themselves hot to wrestle by buying a DVD" people, or are you a wrestler under a different name? Well for everyone to know I am not knowing for my speaking, But you see I may not be the best Mic man, trash talker or what not. My actions in the ring makes up for it, I can go in that ring and kick the holy hell out of a wrestler, out wrestle anyone and just show why I am "Hawaiian Strong Style" now you saw that I do not make sense about my posting and blah blah blah. So what if it doesn't make sense I am not forcing you to read the post, you can just left click and move on to the next post or make your own. You see I am straight up person, Hey I like reading your post it is funny and you make points, but don't assume you know the plans of the future of HCW. HCW is about Evolution and thats all we have done is Evolve to become better every time. I will not hide under a name and post stuff about you. Well thanks for being straight up and speaking your mind, because I do it to. well hope you will tune in for the holiday special Dec 17th on K5 at 1pm - 2pm much Aloha Kaniala[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300][/glow] KANIALA !!! ;DHowzit Braddah! It is a pleasure to read your post. Mahalo for responding as well. As you mentioned, what matters most is what you do in the ring. That's what wrestling has always been about, and that's what it will always be about. Forgot costumes, gimmicks, stupid storylines, it comes down to the the story you tell in the ring. It's not about message boards, interviews, parking lot brawls. The greatest matches in history were done in the ring. But, your posts... So what if they "don't make sense?" C'mon, brah, that in itself doesn't make sense. Think about that a for moment. My wrestling training is far beyong DVD how-to's and wrestling a 5 foot stuff animal on a matress. In all fairness, may I ask who trained you ? I have been probably trained, in my opinion, by some of the most knowledgeable no-names in the business. Guys who spent a good amount of time wrestling during the 70's and 80's, right before, and during the time Vince bought up the East Coast. I would love to say I was trained at the Dungeon, or Harley Race School, Afa's gig in Philly, and perhaps the most knowledgable trainer ever, Walter Kowalski. Even Bob Holly's school would be a nice change of pace. I don't know if you were trying to insult me concerning my "training." There is a reason why I am suddenly appearing... I don't believe I ever mentioned that I knew the plans of the future for HCW, other then the utter amusement of Watcher's claim that HCW will be dead come whatever the date was. I think HCW has a bright future, and at the moment, this is my small contribution to a promotion who has stood tall even in their most dire times. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to stop hammering Ref. Jeremy... ;D -thewrestlingwizard I mention your posts because I am interested in what you, your character, has to say. Your upcoming matches, your random thoughts. I understand many wrestlers are busy, and some may not even have a computer, but HCW is missing the whole point of the message board. They could easily draw so many more people to the shows, simply on this... When I see a message from you, I don't want to left-click off the page. I think you're a talented wrestler, and I'm offering contructive critism for things that could use improvement. Notice I mentioned nothing about your in-ring skills... That was a compliment.

Wrestling Wizard can you do me a favor and SHUT UP! I am unsulted that you say that I am not talent. I got more talent in my counting hand than you do in you whole body. Stay out of Mr. Oki's and I business. I will take care of Mr. Oki in my own way it could be in the ring or in a HCW Board room. I am not an idiot I know how to take care of myself I am a trained U.S. Army trooper. Don't make me take out my trump card on you. I just don't understand you. In a earlier post you said you were trained by what a monkey or a mouse running on a wheel. Just stay out of my business. Saying that I am not talent Hell if there wasn't any Ref's it would just be a runaway circus in there. So I ask you to cease and please stop.............. Jeremy D. Thurby

OK Thurby. You win. My mouse-wheel training can't compare to your military training. But, on a side note, thank you kindly for you service to our country. With that said, I hope you do take care of Mr. Oki. It would exciting to see that match, and with the right buildup, it could make for a good feud. Think of the message as a "rough draft." I am sorry that you were insulted that I didn't think you were a talent. I understand the concept of making everyone involved, and if you understood the concept of "push"ing a "talent", you would understand what my only purpose is here, on the HCW board. I am amused that you think I have no talent. I don't know what more to say to this, other than I choose not to brag about where I've been, what I've done, who I was trained by; instead I just simply use it at my discretion. But I will leave you with this. I am currently training a few people myself. And before you go on a whole "backyard" federation rant, my ring is actually indoors. I don't advertise it, because I don't want a million people knocking at the door. It's a small group of people who are serious about "old school" professional wrestling. Which is also why I am thrilled that Steve Corino is coming! ;D You can keep your trump card in your pocket, sir. This was to be about a Referee and a Wizard, not and Army Trooper and talentless wannabe. There's no interest in that. People would get up and go over to that other place where you have to duck to walk in... And I hope you take care of Oki, finally in the end of your feud, in the RING !!! I never thought you were an idiot, I was trying to get you to stand up for yourself against that million-dollar mahu, on no wait, that's the other guy, the million-dollar moron, Oki. And you're right, without referees, it would be chaos. I can agree with you on that. Which is why I tell you to "master" the "art" of the three-count. It wasn't an insult. It was a show of encouragement. You're a good referee. And referees have a distinct purpose in a match. I would share with you those secrets, but it's obvious you think I'm the idiot. So, best of luck to you in your quest for referee greatness, and I hope to see something involving you and Oki. As for me, I'll shut up now. It's too bad, too, because I was just ready to beat up on your "ohana" who have come to your rescue. The Wrestling Wizard.

[glow=blue,2,300]Okay, I know this is the " FANS " section of the messageboard and i'm not supposed to post here, but, what the hell.. Wrestlingwizard... I can't speak for everyone who visits this messageboard, just myself.. SO, 1st and foremost, i'd like to thank you for your support in me.. Believe me, this position is not what i'd lke to be doing because I belong in that ring.. I have however grown to like what i'm doing for the meantime.. Having been around for some time now, I do know the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat for a person put in this position.. I love the challenge it presents, and if I fail from time to time, all I gots to say is.. " AAH, CHRY AHGEN 2MAHROW " Secondly, everything you've posted so far has been superb.. It's also great to see the responses.. What's not great however is the fact that you're packing your bags and leaving the board.. C'mon, it's just jeremy.. Oh wait, before he get mad at me, it's PFC. Thurby of the Army Reserves.. ( saying things that are not allowed to be said on the board.. for you slow peepo l-e-t m-e t-a-l-k i-n a w-a-y y-o-u u-n-d-e-r-s-t-a-n-d... I A-M- S-W-E-A-R-I-N-G. ) So what he's in the reserves.. Are we supposed to be frightened? Please all your reserve training wouldn't be to your benefit if you had to challenge someone like me so do me a favor jeremy, and WHY DON'T U PLEASE SHUTDAPHUCKUP.. Don't leave cuzz a retard like jeremy gets offended.. I believe he should master the art of counting to three too.. Eh jeremy, in case he didn't make himself clear, all he's trying to say is there's more to counting 1-2-3 than meets the eye.. In lame terms, you're boring. plain and simple.. Don't go.. mi casa e su casa.. make yourself at home.. feel free to go get a heineken out da fridge and keep posting your thoughts.. D.A.M... Trust me when I say that when I get back in the ring, things for you guys will definitely start to get interesting.. In the meantime choke on this..Have you ever really given a thought as to why you're being treated as you would refer to as unfairly? Have you thought about it with a clear mind? Did you read between the lines? The answers are NO,NO, & HELL NO!! The point was I wanted to see if I paired you ShinKu with a guy like Ma Hu Wong, just how determined you'd be to make an impact.. You let your homophobic thoughts cloud your mind, therefor you couldn't get the job done. Puttng you in 3 matches in one night was not to make an example out of you.. It was to see how much fire you had in you.. If you had the desire to show truly just how much you belong. How much you could take. How much you could give back.Your rants, along with DaCrushers' mean as much to me as jeremy does.. It's all irrelevant.. Don't say you're gonna do this or you wanna do that here on the board.. Make us a believer and go out there and do this and that.. It's then, and ONLY THEN should you come on the board and smack it up... Prove yourself in the ring.. You take pride in saying Mau'i No Ka Oi right? Well if Mau'i is truly indeed No Ka Oi, then why didn't you win? Get the point now?[/glow]
